“And he took her in his arms and kissed her under the sunlit sky, and he cared not that they stood high upon the walls in the sight of many.” – Tolkien

I have been thinking of doing a free printable every now and then on here as a token of appreciation to you readers that have stuck around through my sporadic writing. My thought is every couple weeks, or perhaps once a month, I will release a new free printable and retire the previous free printable to my Etsy store. Opinions on this are welcome.

I created this free Tolkien printable for members of a literary Facebook group – if you love books and don’t currently follow Reshelving Alexandria and all of their lovely groups that hive off the main one, I highly recommend you go follow! They also have a website that is full of information on old books – and subscriptions are open for a limited time! You can check out their website here – reshelvingalexandria.com. In full disclosure; I have not gotten a subscription as I don’t think I’d utilize it in this season of life – but I think there are many who would benefit from it and I love what the women behind it have created.

This free Tolkien printable features a dark gray background with a white ornamental celtic knot and font.

The file is a jpg and is quite large to print (you will be able to print to at least 20×30″, should you so desire.) Most commonly, people like to print these as 8.5×11 on their home printer or at the local office supply shop. It is created so you can frame it as an 8×10 print, a common frame size.

Some options for printing include an office supply store. You can load the print on their website and often pick up same day. I recommend having prints made on 110lb cardstock.
Costco is an excellent print option – while a lot of the print shops have been removed from in store, they offer an online printing service and ship free to your home. Costco offers large prints at an affordable rate (that 20×30″ I mentioned? Just $10.)

Digital prints can also be put on bags, mugs, magnets, etc.

I just ask that you not sell the file or any product made from this file.Free Tolkien Printable "And he took her in his arms and kissed her under the sunlit sky, and he cared not that they stood high upon the walls in the sight of many."

If you need additional help, I am happy to assist! And if you’re so inclined, I love seeing how people display my printables!
