I am SO excited about this Shakespeare free printable my friend Christina created as a labor of love for all my readers! Christina is a talented artist and makes very relatable homeschool mom humor comics at www.lowexpectations.ca – you can find her links to instagram and facebook there, too.

These printables correspond with the characters in Shakespeare’s As You Like It and these can be utilized as far as your imagination will take you!

There are OPTIONS available, too! Black and white prints are available for your family to enjoy coloring them in, and Christina has colored a set in for those that prefer to print and be done! There are also two sizes available. One size has 4 characters per sheet, making the set three pages long in total. The second set is a bit larger and there is just one character per sheet, making the set 10 pages long.

When my boys were little we enjoyed both the Lamb’s and Edith Nesbit’s retelling of Shakespeare stories. I couldn’t find my Lamb’s copy to show pictures of it, but this is my Nesbit copy with a couple pictures of the inside. I love our beautiful copy, but it isn’t easy to find. There are lots of various publishers available here. (this is an Amazon referral link and if you chose to use it I earn a tiny bit without it costing you anymore.) Mine is published by Hertel, Jenkins and Co.

The Shakespeare free printable sets are available as pdfs and you can find them by clicking the corresponding link:

Thank you so much. Our kids are in 7th and 11th grade and will be reading this play soon. I printed the ten card set (4 on a page) and we are using them like baseball cards where they write stats (character studies) for written narration.

[…] book Tales from Shakespeare. Herby and Alby really enjoyed it and they coloured in some characters that we could move around as the story progressed. I’m planning to read A Winter’s Tale […]
